Houston

It isn’t possible to see everything Houston has to offer in a day. That’s where Sunterra’s location comes in. Just 30 minutes from downtown, Sunterra residents can visit Houston any time the fancy takes them. Among the many popular attractions are the   Houston Zoo, the Museum District and Buffalo Bayou Park. Shopaholics can spend hours browsing high-end stores at the Galleria. Brazos Bend State Park

Lake Conroe

This 21,000-acre lake located just over an hour from Sunterra is a haven for water sports enthusiasts, nature lovers and anyone seeking a peaceful respite. Huntsville State Park

Another great outdoor destination located an hour and a half from Sunterra, this a peaceful 2,000-acre oasis features beautiful pine forests, sparkling lakes and a variety of recreational activities. Lace up your hiking boots and hit one of the park’s many trails. Keep an eye out for the park’s diverse wildlife. Rent a kayak, canoe or paddleboat to explore the 210-acre Lake Raven. San Antonio
