Every kid has dreams and they can fulfill them while brushing up on skills, learning something new, or just having a great time at summer camp. Here are the camps closest to Sunterra.

Art Camps

Cordovan Art School

Days and times vary, May 26–Aug.18

Ages 5-16

Voted best art camp in Katy, Cordovan Art School offers more than 40 themed camps, including Pokemon, space, animals, fantasy, superheroes and more that can be rendered in mixed media, chalk, pencil, pastels, watercolors, acrylic, paper mache, clay, pottery, and more!

Carson’s Art School

10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday, May 25-Aug. 10

Ages 6 and up

$195 half day, $380 full day

Students get to choose what they draw or paint and use a variety of mediums under expert instruction from nurturing teachers.

Pinot’s Palette

10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 1-Aug. 7

Ages: 6 & up

$60 per day, $275 per week

Painters of all ages will enjoy putting brush to palette while exploring a variety of themes, including space, mythical creatures, beach days, animals, wizards, and more.

Performing Arts

Spotlight Acting Academy

School of Rock

Code Ninjas

Up your child’s tech skills by introducing them to the wonders of coding. Themed camps cover everything from Minecraft and Roblox to retro arcade and AI coding.

Club SciKidz

Sports & Fitness

Just Play Sports Basketball Camps

9 a.m.-noon Monday-Friday, May 27-Aug. 7

Grades K-10

$50 per day, $225 per week

Learn the basics of passing, shooting, dribbling, defending, and teamwork with seasoned coaches dedicated to improving skills and making basketball fun. The facility is located 10 minutes from Sunterra making it a slam dunk for sports camp fun.

Brian Knight Basketball Camps

8:30–11:30 a.m. and 1:00–4:00 p.m. days vary, June 1-July 8

Campers will get constant reps, learn proven drills, and compete in games and contests—all while being coached and encouraged every step of the way. Every player leaves better, more confident, and ready to take their game to the next level.

Swing into summer camp and develop skills for success on the court. Sessions are offered for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players.

Alliance Fencing Academy

Campers will learn basics of modern Olympic style of fencing, learn footwork, and techniques, and have fencing bouts with different missions.
